Here are some of the most common questions asked of us.

Q. Do you photograph in Black and White?
A. Black and White photography is making a well-deserved come-back these days. Black and white is a timeless, elegant form of photography that never goes out of style. We are happy to say that, even though we create our photographs with color film, black and white images can easily be made from all of our photographs. In fact, the digital processors used by our professional photo lab can create a variety of different looks from the same photograph, including black and white, sepia, and other monochromatic effects.

Q. Do you use digital photography?
A. Well... yes and no. All of our photographs are created using film-based cameras. However, our professional photo lab creates a digital file from each photograph. This makes it extremely easy for us to provide our clients with such sought-after products as "digital preview albums," Kodak wedding CDs, professional computer screen savers, and more! In addition, either we or our photo lab can provide post-creation digital imaging services such as photo corrections (glasses glare, skin enhancements), and photo manipulations (head replacement, changing backgrounds, special effects).

Q. Speaking of special effects, what kind do you use?
A. We don't utilize any special effects, such as double exposures or vignettes, in the creation of your photographs. Most of our clients tend not to want these effects. However, for those that do want them, special effects can be easily created afterwards by our professional photo lab using digital techniques. Just let us know what you'd like!

Q. Do you keep the negatives?
A. Yes. In order to qualify for the Promise of Excellence lifetime guarantee, the photographer must archive the client's negatives.
